Pirate Ship Park

I loaded the boys in the bike trailer and took them to play on the pirate ship. We got there early in the morning before it's too hot and too crowded so we had the place to ourselves. The great thing about this playground is it's on the beach so we can cool off in the water while Marcus plays on the ship. Yes, I let him play unattended and I have no problem with that. The zip line is awesome, especially when you slam into the pulley at the end.

  1. Hey Mel,

I dont know if you remember me, but I'm Lizzy. I was Caitlin's roommate at "The Riv" in Provo. I think for only one semester before I got married. Anyway, she sent me an email with your blog name, so I thought I would check it out. And since I still use your recipe for chocolate chip cookies, I thought it would be okay if I left a comment! :)
Anyway, I think your family is adorable. I think blogs are so much fun. I am not a very good blogger, cause I have a hard time keeping mine up to date, but you can check it if you want: johnsonsnutshell.blogspot.com
By the way, your chocolate chip cookies are still yummy! I use that recipe frequently!
I dont know how big the ward is there in Okinawa, but I have a cousin who lives on the base. Her name is Rachel Morales, her husband is a marine, his name in Nathan. Maybe you will run into them sometime.
Wishing you lots of fun and excitement in Okinawa...

  4. No fair! That park looks soooo cool! BUT, is it as cool as roller blading to donate plasma in the dead of winter? I wish I could come visit you. Okinawa looks amazing!
