Camping at White Beach
This gorgeous sunrise was my reward for getting up at 4:30 am with Ethan. We had just survived the longest night of our lives as we camped on the beach the day after Thanksgiving. The wind was so strong it felt like we were sleeping in a wind tunnel all night. Eventually the wind destroyed our brand new screen tent, ripped a giant hole in our tent, and knocked over our new lantern shattering the glass. It was our most expensive camping trip ever. Note the huge rocks and all the ropes tying down our tent. If not for them, we would have found ourselves floating somewhere in the middle of the Pacific Ocean when we woke up. However, in spite of the wind, we had a great time with our friends who came with us.
