Gotta Get Away!

My fam took off for a much needed get-away to St. George, Utah (aka desert). We were surrounded by beautiful red rock, flowering cactus plants, and golf courses. Some friends let us take over their vacation home and it was a blast! I particularly enjoyed staying in a house that wasn't in any way, shape, or form similar to my bomb shelter in Japan.

    Mel, you are a great photographer! I'm so glad your family was able to get away together. What a blessing. Looks like a dose of fun....good medicine.

    There's something healing about being in the desert and seeing all the things that survive in the face of adversity. I'm done being cheesy now. Love the house rocks, love the slot (although I'd be scared I wouldn't fit), and LOVE Ethan's timeout.
