Here is a link from the local news in Utah about my sister.
You know something tragic has happened to you when it makes the news. Thanks to all of you for your support. I never knew it was possible to feel so sad and to cry so much. My heart is tired.
My heart hurts for you as well. Emotional pain is exhausting. I know it's hard to imagine that you will ever smile, or laugh, again, but it will come. I've thought about you and your family nonstop for the past day and I wish all of you peace and calmness in your hearts. --Caitlin
ReplyDeleteI have cried a lot. I can't even imagine how it's been for you. I'm sure it will get easier, although you probably can't imagine that right now.

ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful tribute to your sister, Mel. I'm so sorry for your pain. Time will help ease the pain, but it's true that healing will only fully happen when we are reunited. What a blessing to be in a family of such faith! A scripture that I have leaned on since my mom's death 16 years ago is John 16:20-22. My prayers are with you, friend.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great article. I can't stop thinking about you. I hope things are going as well as can be expected. When do you come to Utah, or are you here already. Love you.

Mel,
ReplyDeleteI haven't checked blogs for a while and I was deeply saddened to read about your sister. I cried for you and your family. What a blessing it is to have the knowledge of the gospel and to know she is in a wonderful place and that you will be together again someday. I'm here in Utah and I would be more than happy to do anything I can to help. Please let me know. I read the article and she sounded like a wonderful person and an amazing missionary. I told my husband and our thoughts and prayers are with you as well. Love you Mel.
