We ate this at a sushi-go-round. Surprisingly, it was the best tasting salmon we've ever had. We didn't eat the whole head, just the yummy pink meat on the inside. It was simply divine. The moral of this story: It's what's on the inside that counts.
Oh my word! If I ever hear my kids complain about dinner I'm pulling up this post and showing them that photo. What a crack up. Good for you for giving that ugly thing a try;)
I'm Rebecca Menzie's sister. She said that we should make this for lunch. I'm laughing! Great picture! our family loves sushi so that would have been fun. Did they try to do it tempura style? :)
I just lost my appetite.
ReplyDeleteI'm with Ryan.

ReplyDeleteI agree. I've eaten inside a sheep head. Dee-lish.
ReplyDeleteNice moral but I'm with the others - I feel suddenly queasy.
ReplyDeleteThat's disgusting

ReplyDeleteI'm of the mindset that presentation counts for more than half the enjoyment of a meal.
ReplyDeleteThis presentation is not gonna do it for me.
I think I just threw up a little in my mouth!
ReplyDeleteLOL!! I love that picture!
ReplyDeleteI am grateful you didn't take me to THAT restaurant while I was out there. Vomit.
ReplyDeleteThat is the most nasty thing I have EVER seen! Seriously. Wow. I think I just threw up in my mouth a little bit. Blech!
ReplyDeleteWhat sushi go round was this? You are very brave. I think I will just stick with my California roll.
