I love sushi rolls. I crave them. If it were up to me I would eat them every day. My boys love them too which surprises me since the only food they eat without being forced is cold cereal.
Here's a clip on how to make
California Rolls and here's how to make
sushi rice for any other sushi lovers out there.
Looks good, Mel. We have a sushi chef that prepares California Rolls for the store every day. I have to admit that I eat them a couple of times a month. Really don't like the raw fish, though.
ReplyDeleteNice! Tiff is excited to come to Japan and eat lots of raw fish! (I'm not quite as excited for the raw fish, but it's ok, it's all part of the experience)
ReplyDeleteSo glad to see a picture of the rolls - can't wait to make some...I think I may attempt it this weekend. Kind of wish you had a technical support line that I could call...you may get a frantic email but chances are you'll be sleeping. :)
ReplyDeleteI just might have to give sushi making a whirl. I love the ebi and california rolls best, but Wayne is much more adventurous. When you come back to the states I'll bet you get recruited by every RS you're in to give a sushi class. You're awesome!
ReplyDeleteMel, I love this post - we had taken pictures to post on sushi making too!
ReplyDeleteIf you ever decide to do a shushi making night (or if we do) - we should get together!
Angie
Looks delicious! I think you can start a cooking segment, and you can add your BBQ Chicken pizza.
