Marcus is obsessed with super heroes. He is constantly updating me on all the super heroes he has in his "system". I think he means his body when he says that. According to Marcus he has all the basic superheroes like Spiderman, Superman, and Batman in his system and decided he needed more. For example, Hotwheel Boy who has the ability to drive Hotwheels, Milk Boy who can drink milk faster than any human, Hobbit Foot Boy, not sure what he does yet, Gecko Catcher Boy who saves moms from catching geckos and many others.
I learned of a new superhero in his system last night. Marcus was climbing into bed when he passed gas.
Me: Marcus, say excuse me.
Marcus: Mom, didn't I tell you I have Stinky Gas Boy in my system?
Me: Oh you do?
Marcus: Yes! And Stinky Gas Boy burps at bad guys too.
Okay.....who's going to protect me from Stinky Gas Boy?
Well, duh ... should've known there's something for everything! LOL!

ReplyDeleteThat's awesome! Derek has just become aware of super heroes. Yesterday he had me pin a blanket over his shoulder so he can be "Super Why" the superhero. I think that's from a TV show he watches, but he may have just made it up.
