We've got family visiting us (hooray!) so we took them to Ryuku Mura. I have no idea what that means but that's what it's called and it's a lot of fun. It's a traditional Okinawan village and they have performances that are so cool to watch. Unfortunately they don't translate any of it to English so we have no clue what's going on. We just clap our hands and smile.
A big dragon type dog thing came out and tried to get Ethan to pet him. Naturally, Ethan who loves dogs and pretends to be one burst into tears.
Poor guy; they are a bit spooky.
ReplyDeleteSo glad you have family here ... it makes things so nice (at least I think so - we have yet to experience that!). :)
I would burst into tears if I saw that too!
ReplyDeleteHow fun you have family there!! I swear you guys are living such a glam life across the planet! Every time I look at your blog you're telling us about some cool foreign place or tradition! Keep it coming! It's almost as good as being there myself, right?
ReplyDeleteThat IS scary. Looks fun though.
ReplyDeletegood times! What will you blog about when you come back to the boring states?
ReplyDeleteThat thing would make me cry too, especially if it was in my face like that!
ReplyDeleteI swear Mel, you just don't miss a day of fun there in Japan do you! Poor Ethan. My little Collin would have burst into tears too. Hey Mel, I'm setting my blog to a private blog tonight and I would love to keep in contact. If you ever want an invite, send me your email address at stacyrusson@gmail.com. I love looking at your blog and hope we can stay in touch!

That dog thing is kinda scary. Looks more like a monster than a dog. Hope you're having fun with Braden and Tiffany.
ReplyDeleteRyukyu is the old name for Okinawa, and Mura means village. So basically it's called "Old Okinawan Village".
ReplyDeleteLooks cool...
