Saturday night was a much-needed retreat to Cocok's Nail Salon. We stay-at-home moms treated ourselves to a 30-minute leg and foot massage and then our little piggies got some serious detailing painted on our tiny toenails. True art on a canvas the size of my little toenail. Literally.
After our toes were finished, we headed to Yoshi Hachi's for some amazing Japanese food.
Melissa, the non-Japanese-food-fan-who's-afraid-to-try-anything-new ordered a terriyaki dinner. A safe bet. It arrived in a boat. Yes, a boat.
It was a great night.
That makes me miss my toes! I had to take a second look to make sure the picture you posted was of your foot and not mine. Le weep for not having Japanese pedicures in America! (Well, I'm sure they have them . . . but who can afford them here?)
ReplyDeleteMy poor toes wish they were invited:) I love the flowers!
ReplyDeleteI wish I could wear opened toed shoes right now! February is almost over. ;)
ReplyDeleteThat is amazing! They really do know how to pamper a girl over there! Oh, I love your oatmeal post- My kids love waffles smothered in syrup- I probably should take a deep breath and make them eat some oatmeal!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE Cocok's! Yours are so pretty - I love the hibiscus. Great company + toes/food = a night well deserved!
ReplyDeleteyou and erika have the same toes! It has to be one of the funniest thing I've ever seen!
ReplyDeletewow, I love it!! Seriously, I love having my toes done like that, but never have I seen such art. Where's the talent in America? By the way, I love your family picture in the header of your blog. It really is amazing!
