Rainy Day

Rainy Day + Head Cold = Chicken Noodle Soup and a Movie

I watched this

which reminded me of this little trip I took in September.

Yes, the English countryside is just as pretty as it looks in the movie.

I'd probably get over the sickies much faster if I could sleep better but the frogs are back. Sigh. But this time we have a solution: Custom-made earplugs. You can get them from your dentist, or your husband if your husband is a dentist. They fit snug as a bug and if you're really lucky you can store them inside a retainer case. As soon as my dentist (aka Love of my Life) gets back from San Diego I'm going to own my first pair of earplugs.
Now that I've given you a great tip to sleeping through the night sans noise and interruptions, I'm off to take a nap.
(How's that for a random post? Mr. Darcy, earplugs, and frogs)

  3. Ugh, the rain! We heard the frogs last night and immediately thought of poor Randy. Lalon has intentions of going out to "hush them" but they will probably end up outside your bedroom window again. At least the pouring rain keeps the croaking down a bit.
Hope you're feeling better soon and glad Randy is back! :)

  5. I have these wax ear plugs that you can get at the grocery store. They're made for kids (orange ones) or adults (clear ones) for swimmers ear, but i use them as plugs- can't hear a thing.
