Randy took the boys on a father and sons camp out. As they drove away I could hear them cheering, "NO GIRLS ALLOWED! NO GIRLS ALLOWED!"
I smiled to myself as I thought their words seemed to be the theme to my life. My life full of boys.
Now if only we could come up with another boy name we agree on for boy #3. We've given up discussing it anymore. Maybe we'll just name him after the doctor who delivers the little guy and with our luck he'd probably have some horrible name like Ned or Frances. Help!
I have to laugh because my parents named my little brother after her OB. If your OB is japanese this might not be so nice:)
ReplyDeleteOk, so you and I need to move to the same town so that on father and sons campouts we can hang out since it seems all we can make is boys.
ReplyDeleteGood luck with the boy name. I have no advice. You'll notice how each of our boys' names has gotten shorter. If (and I emphasize IF) we have a fifth, it will have to be a one letter name.
My sister and her husband don't even discuss names until she is in labor at the hospital. Good-luck compromising on a name!
ReplyDeleteI name I LOVE but Johnny will not comply with is Henry. Do what you will with it. Good luck!
ReplyDeleteThose aren't by chance the names that Randy likes, are they? haha
ReplyDeleteHave you thought of the name Charlie? I really like that one.
ReplyDeleteYou are so funny!!! My boys are leaving tomorrow morning for a camping trip. NO GIRL's allowed. I feel your pain. By the way could you look any more beautiful pregnant. Gosh Mel your so photogenic prego or not. I turn into this beached whale everytime. I have no suggestions for names because ours are all exhausted from the basketball team forming in our house. He he! Can't wait to see him and find out the name :)
ReplyDeleteIt was good to see you- I forget how hillarious and spunky you are! I hear ya on the boy life- you're so lucky you at least have sisters to keep you sane!
ReplyDeleteI feel your pain...my life is full of boys too and Kaden always reminds me that I'm the only girl in the family. Boy names are VERY difficult, we changed our minds a couple of times and finally came up with one (Evan) about a month before he was born, and it came out of the blue, wasn't even on our original list of names so just be patient, it will come. I can name about a dozen girl names I love off the top of my head but no so much with the boy names.
ReplyDeleteNothing wrong with Frances...
ReplyDeletea BOY!! i am seriously looking forward to those camping trips, but jon has reminded me that i will have the den leader calling for life now that we have three that will go through the program. that is so not funny.
ReplyDeleteas for names, the extras on our list were malcom, bernard and xavier. you're welcome to them. :)
I kept reading your posts to find out if you REALLY know this one is a boy. Are you sure? I'm behind in the Bloggosphere. Those words, "No Girls Allowed!" would be music to my ears. I could use some quiet moments with just me and Megan. :)
ReplyDeleteLet's see.... boy's names: Jacob was the #1 boy name again this year. I like Charlie too, as someone else mentioned. Samuel, Aidan, & James are others favorites of mine.
