After working up a sweat, the boys hit the vending machines for some ice cream. For 120 Yen you get the ice cream cone of your choice. I'm going to miss that!
Our second stop was at the giant roller slide park, or as we like to call it "The Only Roller Slide That Really Matters Park". It is possible to go so fast on this slide that you burn your skin on your rear end. I learned the hard way it is always best to slide down sitting on cardboard.
Our next stop was Comprehensive Park. This park is huge with a lake for paddle boats, bike paths, and several different play grounds with zip lines, swings, dangerous climbing nets and towers children can fall out of. We could have stayed there all day but the stress of making sure no one died was exhausting.
At least I knew Landon was safe.
Wow! You are down to crunch time! Don't miss a second, just forget sleeping, there is still tooo much to do!! LOL We were there 6 years and up until the day we were leaving we were discovering places we hadn't been to, eaten at, played at, etc! And we never stopped the whole time we were there!! Ha! Enjoy! You will be on your state bound plane in just a couple of blinks!!!
ReplyDeleteOkay, I need directions asap to the roller slide park.
ReplyDelete7 Weeks?!? Sad day! I hope you don't go into shock moving to Seattle! We really need to pick your brain for the best places you have discovered before you leave.
ReplyDeleteMelanie...I need directions to that slide park, too! Coral, I'll meet you there!
ReplyDeletelandons face is hilarious in that picture!
ReplyDeleteDo you love that baby sling? and is it really easy to use like I've heard? I'm thinking I might need one for #3. did you make yours?
I can't believe how fast your time here is going. We're going to be down in the dumps after you leave. :(
ReplyDeleteOn the bright side, what a fun way to spend a Saturday! LOVE the pictures - especially of Bean on the swing. :)
