If Only

Oh, if only you had visited us in Japan!

You probably would've gotten to . . .

visit this shrine,

swim at this beach,

see this light house,

play under this giant shisa dog,

tour this castle,

or gaze at this whale shark swimming in the largest open-water aquarium in the world.

Randy's brother and his family have been here for the last couple weeks, giving us the chance to do our favorite Oki things for the last time. We are exhausted and they are jet-lagged. And now that the bomb shelter is back to housing five people instead of nine, it suddenly seems a lot bigger.

The final countdown is on: 15 days left in Japan.
