Every day is boys day in our house, but in Japan it's an official holiday on May 5th. Carp flags hang from flag poles outside of homes, one carp for each son in the family. Why carp? Because the Japanese consider it the most spirited fish and so full of energy it can fight its way upstream. I think that describes my boys perfectly.
Today we're also celebrating that the Landonator slept through the night two nights in a row. It took him 9 (nine!) months to figure it out. What I really mean is it has been 9 months since I've had a good night's sleep. I woke up at 5:00 am feeling so refreshed I jumped out of bed and went running. Then I came home and checked to make sure Landon was still alive. Hooray for boys (who sleep through the night)!
Oh yeah, and here are the other two boys, dirty faces and all. Japanese bubbles are way better than those soapy bubbles that pop all over the place. They will also make for great entertainment on the upcoming flight.
9 days left in Japan
Love those pictures, especially Landon. Can't wait to see him!
