Love the photo. If there is one thing you are, it is TOUGH. I imagine that it's an awesome workout with an extra 50+ (??) lbs.!!!!!!!
In my younger years I could drag my behind out of bed before the sun came up to run, but I couldn't do it now. It's funny how in certain areas of life we become much tougher and in others we sink. Moms need SLEEP!!!
I agree! Sleep is way too important to me. I would rather run with the extra 60+ lbs ( Because my boys are tanks!) In fact I hate running in the morning so much I ran last night from 9-11 Crazy I know, but real crazy would be running at 5!
Come on Mel, I know you are tougher than that!!! You can't give up! You have to push through the first week or two where you feel so tired you crash every afternoon. Once you have convinced your body that you are in charge and that you are not giving up it will start to cooperate and eventually you'll be able to do it. I used say the same thing as you and have always been a night owl who liked to sleep in. The first time trying at running early didn't last a week... but I tried again, persisted and now it's awesome. It's like this secret club that no one knows about... while they all sleep you are invigorated, refreshed and fit! They wake up and you're all ready way ahead of them for the day. Join my secret club!!!! If anyone is tough enough it's you!!
5 am is way to early. thankfully scott doesn't have a commute so i can do 6 am. ethan will soon be able to keep up with you on his bike like marcus. that kids was a pro!!
