Our boat-owning friends invited us along for our first boat camping experience and naturally we had a great time. A quick 90-minute drive found us at Alder Lake. We spent our days cruising around the water with beautiful views of Mt. Rainier (Marcus saw it and said, "Look! It's Mt. Fuji!") and hung out around camp in the evenings eating good food and letting the kids run amuck. I wake boarded for approximately 43 seconds until I crashed, Randy slalom skied, wake boarded, and learned how to drive a boat, and Marcus and Bean got pulled around on the tube for countless hours and even tried out surfing.

For the record,
this makes camping trip #2
that I did without any help
from Randy.
He's got such a great life!
Jealous of your camping/boating adventures. I love boating! I need to find friends with a boat.
ReplyDeleteAnd of course you packed everything yourself! You are just that amazing!
