Heart Breaker, Trouble Maker

I love this kid.  He marches to the beat of his own drum and anyone who meets him realizes that after about two seconds.  His imagination knows no bounds and his giggle is contagious.  But he keeps us on our toes.
Yesterday when he got off the bus we had a somewhat disturbing conversation.

Me:  Hi Bean!  How was your day?
Bean:  Good.  Cassie and I broke up.
Me:  Uhhhh, ok. I didn't know you were together.  What happened?
Bean:  I told her we had to break up because I'm moving.
Me:  Well, we're not moving until the end of August you know?
Bean:  Oh, I know. I told her we can still kiss but only if we sit at the back of the bus so no one sees us.
This is the part where I lectured him about not kissing, no dating until you're 21, etc. etc.

The next day at the bus stop:
Me:  Hi Bean!  How was your day?  I noticed you were sitting by Cassie. (at the front of the bus, thankfully)
Bean:  Yeah, we got back together so I sat by her on the bus and we snuggled.
Me:  You snuggled?!?
Bean:  Yeah.  She put her head on my shoulder and I put my arm around her.  We decided to get back together.

Is it just me or is this a conversation you'd expect to have with a teenager?  This kid is too cute for his own good but I'm not completely worried.  Eventually girls stop going for the guys who are a foot shorter than they are so I'll let him live it up while he can.
