He's Back!

Cage fighting and Mexican food are the best!

But then he left.  Right now Randy is in Rhode Island house hunting now that his boards are over!  I can't tell you how thrilled I am to have that behind us.  I'd jump up and down screaming but that would hurt and I'd wet my pants.  Randy took his boards on Friday.  It took four hours and he came home with his brain completely fried.  I have to say though, he handled the stress of needing to study every possible second--while seeing patients and being a father--very well.  FaceTime on the iPhone gave the boys a chance to see their dad face-to-face so they haven't forgotten what he looks like.  Seriously, it's Landon's favorite.
We went to an authentic Mexican restaurant to celebrate the end of the boards (and what feels like the end of school even though he'll continue to see patients through the summer).  The food was awesome but if we go back it's because the TV was showing cage fighting.  The boys were hooked.  And I mean all the boys.  Thankfully I haven't noticed an increase in violence since their exposure to something that should be illegal.  Although it sounds like a pretty good career path for Landon.  Hmmmm. . .

P.S. We don't get the results of his boards for 3 weeks so don't ask.  Personally, I don't care how well he did.  All I care about is that it's over!
