Another great thing about Seattle is that we've been able to see so many of our friends from Okinawa. We've had so many house guests we are now on our third AeroBed air mattress in two years. Good thing Costco has a great return policy!
Derek and Ali dropped in for a few days after the 4th of July and we had a great time hanging out with them. Their kids are so perfect if I compare them to my children I might start banging my head into a wall. Seriously. Ali is having her 4th baby any day now so we waddled around together chasing after the kids. I wish I'd gotten a picture of that but I'm always behind the camera. Ali also made us a delicious cherry pie with cherries we picked off a tree. I told her she can visit anytime if she'll do things like that.

Tom and Tracey drove up for one last Ball-Field shebang this past
weekend. We haven't seen or really talked to them since February but we
always pick up right where we leave off so it's like time hasn't passed
at all -- the sign of true friends.

ReplyDeleteWe need some Oki Ball love too! I'm also jealous that Randy is almost done with his residency. One of the neighbor kids just asked me if the kids have a dad because they've never met him!
