Moving Stinks

Blessing Day for Baby Parker
We are still alive.  Barely.  In the past three weeks we bought a house, had a baby, graduated from a residency program, and moved out of our home in Sammamish.  You know you're stressed and sleep deprived when you forget the simple things like remembering to eat.  Or even worse when Randy couldn't figure out how to tie his necktie and finally looked it up online to figure out what step he was missing.  Meanwhile, I was busy tying Marcus and Ethan's ties without any flaws.  True story.  Things would've been much worse if Randy's parents hadn't been there to help us out.
So now we're in Utah, recovering from too much chaos and too much change.  Randy is driving the van cross-country to Rhode Island tomorrow, we're shipping his car, and I'm flying out with the boys in a week to join him in our new house.  Hopefully our stuff will be there before I get there because all I've got for our family of six are some sleeping bags, a box of random kitchen supplies, and a box of toys.
The empty moving truck soon to be filled with all our stuff

Our house looked like this for 3 days.  I sat in a camping chair in a corner discreetly trying to nurse.

Escaping to the beach while our house got packed out.  I bought snow cones for the boys hoping they'd forgive me for disrupting their lives in such a way we will probably all need therapy

Saying good bye to some of our friends

Graduation!!  Randy is officially an endodontist with a Master's degree in dentistry (I think)

  5. Please let me know how you cope with all this. We will be having a baby in the next 2-3 weeks and then moving into a hotel 2-3 weeks after that and then moving to NJ hopefully 2 weeks after that. I'm not sure Pages have the same Pioneer stalk in them as the Spjutes. I'm a little nervous about our survival rate. Any tips or tricks would really help!!!

Congratulations to Randy (and you too, Mel, for the support you gave Randy during your pregnancy, and holding down the fort with 3 little balls of energy!).
Best of luck back east ... it sounds beautiful!
