We took the boys on a biking adventure along our nearby trail for some Saturday fun. Although the fall foliage has been subpar this year, it was still a beautiful bike ride. In our family, all bike rides need a destination involving food and since the sushi/donuts at the grocery store is no longer an option we tried out a little bakery. The cupcakes were big, fancy, and over priced and no less than five people commented on the number of boys I've produced. I kinda felt like a freak show but at least we're a cute freak show.

We are currently waiting out Hurricane Sandy which means whatever was left of our fall leaves will be gone for good. We are three miles away from where people have been evacuated and five miles from the coast so things should get pretty exciting. We took down the trampoline, stocked the cupboards, and after a fruitless search for a generator, took the kids to the beach on Saturday. We also managed to squeeze in two trunk-or-treat parties. We now have plenty of candy to see us through the storm and whether or not the boys will actually get to go trick-or-treating on Halloween remains to be seen.

Speaking of freak shows, I am finally on Facebook. Crazy, I know. Call me old fashioned but I still like the ol' blog better.
Don't ever stop blogging. Facebook is awesome in the fact it's fast, but your blog is so well thought out and great to read. Makes me feel like we've never lost touch.
