He is Now a Man

Memorial Day 2013 will always be special to me because it was the day Marcus learned how to mow the lawn by himself.  In his own words, "Now I'm a man!"  And I am one proud mamma.
Hopefully it will take a while for the novelty of lawn mowing to wear off, but when it does he's still going to have to mow the lawn anyway.  I just finished reading The Battle Hymn of the Tiger Mother {totally recommend it} and when it comes to teaching my kids to work like men and getting them to practice the piano, my inner tiger is unleashed.  Grrrrr!
