We spent our last week of vacation with Randy's family.
All of Randy's family. We're talking 108 people or something crazy like that. It was chaotic fun. We drove to the middle of nowhere {Soda Springs, ID} where Randy's grandma lives. We swam at Lava Hot Springs {where Marcus and Bean jumped off the 10-meter platform!!}, hiked, ate good food, river rafted, searched for the ever elusive huckleberry patch, and took lots of family pictures. After a couple days we drove to Bear Lake where we swam, ate good food, had lots of good fun, and took lots of family pictures. I think the final count on pics from this six-day adventure was around 2,000! It's a good thing I don't scrapbook.
We had a blast though. Randy comes from a great family and his grandma is one of a kind. The boys played themselves to exhaustion every night and Landon is the champ for surviving his first bee sting and his first stitches. {He fell off the toilet and split his chin open. Hilarious!} I told Randy we need to make sure our families continue to plan their reunions several weeks apart every summer so I have a reason to hang out in Utah for weeks on end. He didn't like that idea but a girl can dream, right?

Randy and Bean falling, falling, falling. No one got hurt. Strange. |

Documentation that I got to join in the fun {and conquer my fear of fast water slides at the same time}. |
