We've been living in a what feels like an Arctic vortex since December. It's been painfully cold for a very, very long time. We don't go anywhere without our heavy coats on and we always wear hoods or hats. The wind chill adds even more torture to the whole thing. But I've tried not to complain too much. I know some people have it worse, like the ones who live in Alaska or Minnesota, but those people knew what they were getting into when they moved there. Rhode Island winters shouldn't compare but this year they do.
Saturday was different though. The weather warmed up to a balmy 46 degrees and we couldn't get outside fast enough. It felt like BBQ weather for crying out loud! The boys played hard which meant they were extra tired which meant losing an hour of sleep for Daylight Savings was extra fun. But at least we got a short break from the longest winter known to man. Hallelujah!
It snowed again today. Life is never fair.

Jumping with 3 older brothers is risky business but he survived |
How much fun is that! I hope the snow is over. It is definitely time for spring. And I am so happy you found Ethan. Oh, My heck. That would be so very scary. He is one obedient boy! Kudos to him. He is such a doll.
