We made a poster to be displayed, {notice his career choice when he grows up - a UPS guy}Landon got to pick out a song for the whole class to dance to, he gets to bring in a toy for show and tell, and the teacher will read his favorite book to the class. His song of choice was such a hit the kids went crazy dancing to it so they couldn't hear the music. It made his day. {Listen to Geronimo here} Can't you just picture all the cute little kindergartners dancing around their classroom? I wish I had seen it.
In case you forgot, Landon was referred to as Fuss Pot for the the first couple years of his life. He was the grumpiest, fussy-for-no-reason baby but has mostly grown out of that. He has learned to allow only his family members to experience his anger so the rest of the world thinks he's the sweetest thing to ever walk the earth. Which he is, except when he has anger management issues and unlucky for me, Marcus knows exactly what buttons to push to unleash that anger! But without Landon, Parker would be one lonely soul. These two boys are the best of buds and have formed the tightest of bonds. I hope it will continue as they grow older because it sure is a special thing.
Speaking of Parker, he had his first week of going to his Sunbeams class at church which means no more nursery! Hooray! My baby is not a baby anymore. But don't tell him that. I'm freaking out that I'm not freaking out about it. He fell asleep on his teacher's lap so she brought him to me, so technically he never went to class but it's still a milestone nonetheless.
And here is Parker proudly sporting 2 fingers to show his diagnosis of double ear infections. So fun! No wonder he slept through his class. |
