Random Happenings from February

I literally don't take many pictures anymore so I won't feel obligated to blog about them.  It's actually awesome.  My parents probably took about 50 pictures of me, most of which I don't even know where they are, and my life is fine.  I'm sure my kids will turn out just fine without all the pictures.  What that means is if I take a picture, I really want to remember it so this is a post of the things I don't want to forget about in February because I already forgot about them until I sat down to blog.  So here we go....

Henry bites on his fingernails AND his toenails.  It so gross but also kinda cute. He does it all the time which probably means he needs therapy but for now I'm choosing to laugh at him eating his toenails instead of his dinner.

Ethan totaled the truck so after a couple months of searching, I took him out to find a car and this is what we got.  It's a 2017 Ford Focus and it's a manual so I got to teach him how to drive a stick.  Fingers crossed this car lasts many years.  The good thing about a manual car is that he can't be on his phone when he drives.  Win!

Landon and Parker played rec basketball this year.  Landon worked and worked to get his shots consistent and he played really well.  After a few games his team figured out if they gave him the ball he'd pass it to the right person or take the shot and make it.  They made it to the championship game and lost by one point.

Check out this cute charcuterie tray for Valentine's Day!  I didn't make it.  But I hosted the party for all the young childless women in our area so they could meet and make friends.  I am old.  But I have a house for hosting so it is what it is.

I spend a lot of time meeting with these guys in the bishopric and once in a while the office is so full someone has to sit in the corner.  It's usually Spencer who gets the unlucky spot, try as I might to take it from him.  Makes me laugh every time!

Henry showing off his tats.  He made me take the picture so he could show Marcus back when Marcus was in Brazil.

Pagliacci Pizza was doing a free slice give away on Valentine's Day.  This was the best Valentine's Dinner I can remember in a long time!  Free food for the win!

Landon is obsessed with Prime.  It's a new sports drink similar to Gatorade and apparently the 10-13 year old crowd is obsessed.  It tastes pretty good but I think the hunt for it is the best part.  Kids literally hide them at the store until they can go back or send their friends for some.

This is Henry at a children's museum.  I hate museums but Henry didn't have preschool so I decided it was time for him to experience his first museum.  Yes, I'm a terrible parent.  He had fun and I felt really old next to all the first-time moms who took hundreds of photos of their kids.  Henry loved climbing up the three-story jungle gym.
