A Day at the Park
Before the lock down we went to a park to look at the cherry blossoms. Marcus successfully managed to use one of the Eastern-style toilets in the public restroom without any mishaps. You can imagine the kind of skill required to help your kid successfully squat to do his business. Randy refuses to help him after an unfortunate accident the first time he helped Marcus make the attempt.
The park is located next to a Japanese music school (I think) and we saw this group of Japanese boys practicing a song (not practicing using the toilet). They sounded awesome so I thought I'd share.(when the computer is done having technical difficulties)

ReplyDeleteMel, you realize you wrote that the school boys were practicing right after your sentence about Marcus and the urinal. I was relieved to figure that you were talking about the boys' singing! Thanks for the laugh. And bravo for Marcus and the urinal...it looks very challenging:)
ReplyDeleteI had to master the floor urinals in Korea when I traveled there and it was interesting to say the least. I'm glad your little guy has picked up the skill so quickly! Now, I'll pretend I didn't just post a comment about using a urinal...
ReplyDeleteSo is that thing supposed to be a urinal? Or is it designed for both a oner and a twoer? From a male adult perspective, it looks like an unavoidable watering of the feet.
