The lock down is still on in full force. I guess it will be evaluated on Monday and they'll decide how much longer we are still grounded. Some dependents got caught at the Starbucks across the street from the base. They are now being sent home, off the island for good, without their spouse. I hope that cup of coffee was worth it!
Webster's dictionary defines cesspool: a filthy, evil, or corrupt place or state. Having said that, we are a cesspool of sickness. The boys started with the stomach flu last week. After recovering from that we are now being slammed with the flu. Marcus has double ear infections and can't hear us, Ethan is 100% drool and snot, and Randy and I are walking zombies as we try to catch a couple hours of sleep before being wakened by coughing attacks by one or all members of the family. I'm pretty sure we're logging about 9-12 hours of TV per day as the boys are too sick to even play with their toys. I guess it's a good time to be grounded because we haven't left the house in 3 days.
Get well soon! I hope you're not on lock down much longer...bummer! Take care.
ReplyDeleteWow, being grounded in a tropical place must be horrible, and with two sick children! I guess this wouldn't be the best time to visit, since we won the free lodging contest, right? Get well soon!
ReplyDeleteThat seriously bites ridiculously hard. Giant NF - No Fun. But I do look forward to seeing you guys! Hope you get better soon!
ReplyDeleteWow guys! That is a lot of misery in one week. I hope you all feel better and are able to get off the base soon.
ReplyDeleteI guess that is why I haven't seen you lately. Also everytime we go out I hear crying coming from inside your house. It is probably you! Hopefully the sickness and lockdown will be over next week.
ReplyDeleteYuck. It sounds like one of those weeks that makes all the other weeks in the year seem better.
ReplyDeleteWe have the same junk here. I am glad I am not the only one that has the TV on all day. Kids (and mom and dad) are too sick to do much of anything!
