Blackmail

What do you do with pictures of friends that are so embarrassing they could be used as blackmail? You post them on your blog, of course!
A couple years ago we were living in Boston and suffering from major cabin fever as snow storm after snow storm hit. I decided to throw an "Awesome 80's Party" for something to do. It was so totally rad!
Everyone dressed up in their rad 80's clothes and we took pictures with our backdrop inspired by Debbie Gibson's hit song Lost In Your Eyes. We played a few games and any losers had to slow-dance for 2 minutes while everyone else watched. It brought back a flood of memories of awkward slow dancing in junior high.....a recipe for some good times!

PS. I dressed in my favorite color, fluorescent pink, which is also the same color as my glow-in-the-dark retainer!

  2. I'm laughing so hard right now I almost wet my pants. Oh, the good times. It made wading through the stinky clothes at Salvation Army worth it. I love the picture of Dax and preggo Ash slowdancing. Classic!

  8. I am almost peeing my pants looking at those photos! What a great party -- it's hilarious to see everyone in their 80's garb. We need to have another one of those parties around here because our temperatures around here (Boston) are in the 40's!! Cami... would you like to host? HE HE HE...
