Tide Pool Discoveries

When the tide is low or we don't feel like swimming, we have a great time checking out what's hiding in the tide pools.

Here I am holding a sea urchin. Yes, they are poisonous so be careful you don't squeeze too tight or walk around barefoot. (notice the barefoot kids standing behind me)

And our very favorite is the teddy bear crab. This little guy has green fur that helps him blend in with all the slimy stuff in the tide pool. They're so well camouflaged you can't really see them until they try to run from you.
