Thoughtful

The Japanese people have got to be the nicest people on the planet, well except for that little incident that started WWII. But seriously, they are genuinely kind. They don't believe in road rage or using their horns. I'm not sure I've ever used my horn since we moved here which is a big deal since I learned to survive in Boston by driving with one hand on the wheel and the other on the horn. Anyway, the other day I took a picture of these guys trimming the bushes along the road. What should have been a one-man job took three people because they needed two guys to hold a screen to keep any debris from landing in the road, hitting cars, or pedestrians. Now that's not something you see in the States.

Notice the guy in the mint green scrubs and white rubber boots? That's what most construction guys wear over here.
