Thirsty?


There are vending machines everywhere in Japan. Did you know the little country of Japan has twice as many vending machines as the entire United States has? We saw this vending machine at the edge of a sweet potato field looking like it had fallen from the sky.

    I can't tell you how many times I've been walking by a yam-field thinking to myself, "man, I could really go for a pepsi." Oh wait, yes I can: zero. I like the falling from the sky imagery.

    When you take the population and divide it by the number of machines, there is actually one oki vending machine for every 7 people on island! amazing! I'm really missing the ice cream vending machines!!!
