Beat That!


Marcus can dive into the pool like it's nothin'. Is it pathetic that I can be outdone by a five-year-old? Yes. But I'll keep jumping into the pool, feet first, with my nose plugged because part of my job as a parent is doing things that embarrass my kids and I take my job very seriously.

    The boys and I just watched that 50 times. I kept saying, "Look what Marcus can do and he's the same age as you!"

    We are so, SO impressed with Marcus' ability in water. And Mel, it seems you and I "dive" the same way.

    I attribute it to all the practice he got bellyflopping into the backyard pool in Medford. :)
