Perspective
Some days it is so easy to feel discouraged, especially on the days following sleepless nights with Fuss Pot. He still wakes up every one or two hours which means I'm up with him 4-8 times a night. I'm just grateful he's not a twin.
On those mornings when all I want to do is crawl back in bed, I just have to glance at these pictures beside my bed for the motivation I need to start my day. These framed photographs were given to me by my Boston friends when my sister passed away. When I look at them I am reminded what a blessing it is to have so many wonderful friends. Thanks to all for your kind words, your prayers, and most of all your friendship.

Love the picture of you taking a picture of the ornament.
ReplyDeleteAnd I agree, there is always perspective to make things seem a little brighter. However, your situation right now is so challenging. PLUS, I can't believe you are honestly getting up that often with your baby. It makes me want to weep just thinking about it.
What kind of Nikon did you get?? I'm in the market for a new camera and would love your opinion.
You know, that was Justin's friend from High school who died in the cave. He was also Justin's class president, he was a very nice guy.
ReplyDeleteSWEET! I can't wait to see all your pictures.

Those photographs look so good all framed upon your wall.
ReplyDeleteI was drooling over cameras yesterday in Costco- my kids had to drag me away. Have fun with your Nikon!
Good call on the camera. You know we have loved ours. Now you just need the Mac to complete the package!
