Easily Impressed

Bean does his own kind of dancing. No surprise there.

We took the boys to a free concert in the park. Little did I know Peter Breinholt, the popular local folk singer would inspire my boys to unleash their inner rock star and jump, twist, and shout with an intensity unparalleled by any of the other children.
Marcus and Bean loved it! They think I'm the coolest mom ever for taking them to their first rock concert. I don't have the heart to tell them acoustic guitars and folk music does not a rock concert make.
Other things the boys can't get enough of in the States: Automatic swinging (not sliding) doors, and automatic garage door openers. They could play with both all day. And don't even get me started on their eagerness to go through the drive-up window at the bank. "Does the money really get sucked through a tunnel under the ground and into the bank?" they asked a hundred times. Throw in a free lollipop and these kids think they've died and gone to Disneyland.
