Island Hopping

We woke up on Saturday to a beautiful sunny day without a cloud in sight which means only one thing in Seattle: Go outside!
We drove to Seattle and took a ferry to Bainbridge Island.  I was wrong when I thought our last island hop would be to the Keramas.  The ferry ride offered beautiful views of the city but the boys were bored after 5 minutes.  Sadly, they've been on enough ferry rides to be unimpressed but Randy and I enjoyed it.  Once we got to the island we stopped for some pizza and enjoyed the sunshine at a park.  We drove north to a Scandinavian town called Poulsbo.  We window shopped, grabbed some ice cream, and called it a day.

Bored on the ferry.

  1. That looks like a great little trip on a ferry. I think there is something missing though... another family with all boys wanting to go on all of your adventures. Someday!!

  2. HOORAY! I love seeing these pictures ... Poulsbo was one of our favorite places to visit when we lived in Bremerton - I'm so glad you went!
Sorry the boys were bored on the ferry ... perhaps you could take a soccer ball along next time and see how that goes ;)
You look great, Mel ... It's nice to see a pic with you in it.
