If Landon could talk in complete sentences he would probably say something like this:
"Thanks for taking me to the lake today, Mom. I had a great time trying to throw rocks at the ducks while you and Bean were feeding them bread. Next time I'll try to restrain myself from running into the water in hopes for a closer target. I know how much gross, murky, duck water creeps you out so I don't blame you for your moment of hesitation before you ran in after me, even if I was barely able to keep my head above water after my clumsy face-plant. I also don't blame you for holding me at arm's length as we walked back home. I wouldn't have wanted to get your new shirt dirty either. And I really didn't mind when you finally made me walk because your arms were too tired to carry me. I liked the squishing noises our feet made as we walked. And even though I was freezing cold, I'm glad you thought to take a picture of me before putting me in a warm bath so I'll never forget how silly I was to go swimming in a lake in January. You really are the best!"
Thanks, son. You know I'd do anything for you.
Thats hilarious! I fell in the pond when I was little while my family was feeding ducks. We have video of everyone playing and then all the sudden video comes up of me soaking wet and crying. Good job on the picture, priceless.
