Something New

Three weeks after Randy and I were married we moved to Boston and haven't lived near family ever since.  I dream of the day I can just drop in at my parent's house, unexpected and without a suitcase, just to say hi. I don't know why I think that would be so cool.  I guess just because I've never done it before.
In an unexpected turn of events, we have family living nearby and they drop by all the time, unannounced and without a suitcase.  It's awesome!  Randy's brother and his family are living just down the street for the next six months while he's doing an internship in Seattle.  Did I mention how awesome it is?

Our St. Patrick's Day baby turned 7!  Time flies. . .
We celebrated Marcus's 7th birthday and had enough family here that I'm wondering why I'm being so nice and throwing Marcus a birthday party with his friends.  Especially since his Grandma and Grandpa drove all the way up from Utah to be here and he got so many presents he doesn't need any more.  It sure got Bean excited for his birthday next month.  Last night as he prayed he said, "We're thankful Marcus could get lots of presents for his birthday.  Please bless me to have a great birthday and get lots of presents too."
I wish for all the Legos in the world!

  1. Oh How I love reading your post. If only I could keep up with my blog the way you do. Anyways. Seeing that you have 3 boys, it may come easy to you to dress them cute (or should I say handsome?). I can't seem to get the hang of it yet. I go online and search for outfits, but can't manage to get myself to buy any of the boy stuff yet. Any tips would be much appreciated. Thanks. Like, what on earth do you dress a newborn in for pictures?.....
