Landon strikes again!
He might look cute to you but this is one kid you don't want to mess with. Trust me. I won't go into all the reasons why this kid pushes my patience to the limit, just know that I wasn't at all surprised at his latest stunt.
I was busy helping Bean and Marcus with their latest Lego creation and glanced up just in time to see Landon scribbling on my dining room table with a permanent marker. Did I mention the table is my new, formal, dining room table otherwise known as "My Baby."
Guess who left the marker sitting out on the table? Yep, it was Randy.
When I informed him of his horrible mistake he told me I should keep a better eye on Landon. For a moment I was speechless. (That never happens) I was expecting an apology but I didn't get one so I said, "You're trying to tell me that you can leave permanent markers, knives, or matches just sitting around the house and it's up to me to make sure nothing is destroyed and no one dies?!"
So I ask you to cast your votes over there on the sidebar. I have a sneaky suspicion the men will vote for Randy and the women will vote for me.
And don't worry, the results will in no way affect my marriage and how deeply in love I am with my hubby.
Oh, and Landon isn't for sale. . . Yet.
I'm totally voting for you! And you deserve a BIG apology!
ReplyDeleteSorry, Randy, you are going to lose this one big time, man.
ReplyDeleteYah, totally with you on this one Mel. There's no way to keep an eye on all three boys all the time, unless you have three robots with video feed and absolutely nothing else to do with your day but watch the moniters. p.s. Did you get the marker off the table? If so, how?
ReplyDeleteI would like to know who had the nerve to vote for you?
ReplyDeletethis is all so hilarious, and I am wondering if you got the marker out?
We had a split in our family. Mike of course for Randy but Becca surprised me she voted for Randy too. I of course being a mom in who has been in the trenchs with my two boys I voted for you. Good luck with getting the marker off the table!!
ReplyDeleteGo Mel! WHEN Randy loses he can sand off the top and re-do the whole thing. What better way of saying, "I'm sorry" without actually saying it? Win-win ... yes? (*cough, Randy, cough*).
ReplyDeleteAs for Landon, he's headed in the right direction ... It's easier to ask for forgiveness than it is to get permission.
Good thing you two have such a great relationship and can turn it into something fun.
ak
