We're finally back home. It feels like we've been gone forever and I've got piles of laundry and suitcases waiting to be unpacked to prove it. Even though the drive was way too long, spending a few days in the desert was a dream come true. Wide blue skies stretching as far as you can see, and dry red dirt that puffs under your foot with each step couldn't be more opposite from the gray skies crowded with trees and soggy squishy moss carpeting everything in sight that we've grown accustomed to in the Pacific Northwest. I wish we could've stayed longer but we had lots of work to do at my dad's house to get ready for my brother's reception the following week. I'll post more about that later but for now enjoy these pics from nature's best playground.
Looks like fun! Good luck with your laundry!
