. . .err, I mean wedding pictures. So after a relaxing weekend in St. George we drove 4.5 hours north to Farmington and began getting everything ready for the backyard reception at my dad's house the following weekend. It was a lot of work and you should know I now consider myself to be a professional tablecloth ironer.
My parents have an awesome yard that has three levels to it and a waterfall in between. The receiving line was on the lowest level and the top level was where we set up the tables and chairs. I bet I ran up and down the path between the levels at least a hundred times that day.
The best part about the night was seeing so many friends and family for an event that
didn't involve a funeral. Finally, something to celebrate! (However, my mom's brother died suddenly the same day of the wedding so I still managed to throw in a funeral between all the festivities.) I was having so much fun visiting with everyone that I barely managed to snap a few pics of the reception and the night was almost over before I remembered I hadn't tried the cheesecake. Key lime. I won't tell you how many slices I've eaten since then. I'm thinking it's time to start racking up some serious mileage with my Chariot.

PS. This giant ball kept the kids entertained for hours while we worked in the yard. Marcus thoroughly enjoyed steamrolling his cousins.
