What a Feeling

If this picture could talk you'd hear the loud whooping and hollering of the boys and I as we celebrated the end of another long road trip. We arrived home to sunny skies and warm weather which gave us the perfect opportunity to get our wiggles out before we threw on our church clothes and ran back out the door to get to church.  (Note to self:  Sitting in church after a long road trip should be avoided at all costs!)  I think it's time for another trip to Japan so I can remember how easy the 13-hour drive to Utah is in comparison to 24-hours of flying.  Every time we make the drive it feels longer and longer even though the boys handle it pretty well.  But now we're home and I'd happy to be back if it weren't for the endless amounts of laundry, unpacking of suitcases, and the task of putting away all our Christmas decorations.
We spent a day at BYU re-living our glory days

We visited our Boston friends and checked out his office where he is a BYU Professor

Played with cousins

Made fun of family members and enjoyed my Dad's newly remodeled house

Played with more cousins

Went swimming because there was no snow for skiing - Bean jumped off the high dive!

Spent New Year's Eve with our Oki friends who live in Southern Washington
