The measure of a good vacation is being able to play hard and have time to relax too. Our trip to Boise was the perfect balance of both. Anytime my kids can play hard all day without any help or intervention on my part, then collapse into bed from sheer exhaustion makes for a great day. The cousins played and swam, the adults talked and ate good food, we went to parks, had barbecues, threw my little sister a baby shower, and played games late into the night. Everyone had to make some effort to be there which made it all the more special once we were together.

Dad and his kids, after a long day of playing |
Now that my Mac is back after a minor $700 repair that I didn't have to pay for, I'm back to blogging. We're only one week into summer vacation and I've already had to take drastic measures to keep things running like a well-oiled machine without losing my mind. Baby #4 (who is still nameless) is scheduled to arrive in 37 more days, but who's counting? Stay tuned.
Yay for pictures! The best vacations are definitely the ones where the kids are fully exhausted by the end of the day! Looks like fun!
