Marcus and Megan canon-balling with their dads |
Summer has barely begun for us and already I feel like we're running out of time to squeeze in all our summer fun before we move. I think we have about 7 weekends left in this great place we call home. For the record, this is the first move we absolutely don't want to do. All our other moves were exciting because we either liked where we were going or glad to be done with where we had been. We love it here and if it were up to us we would stay. Of course, all that could change after we live in a place where the sun shines regularly. Anyway, it's time to start capturing all the things I love about living in Washington so when I'm lonely and bored in RI, I can read about the good ol' days on my blog.
Probably the number one thing I love about this place is living right by a lake. We walk down our street, hop in our canoe, and are on the lake in minutes. On the other end of the lake is a fantastic park where there are free concerts in the summer and a roped off swimming area.

See that raft off in the distance? That's Marcus and his cousin. |
After you get settled in (or not), let's meet for meatballs at IKEA! And of course I'll see you at the Clambake.
