Independence Day

They say summer doesn't start here until July 5th but we lucked out with some awesome weather for our 4th of July celebrations.  We have officially acclimated to the cooler temps in the Pacific Northwest because the boys went swimming and it was only sixty-seven degrees.  Apparently all we need is some sunshine to qualify for swimming weather. 

 We started the day off at our church for a surprisingly delicious breakfast followed by a bike parade.  From there we went to Randy's uncle's and swam in their lake, then rushed off to join our friends at their lake house for a BBQ.  We ate way too much food, set off a ton of fireworks, and watched fireworks over the lake long into the night. Washington is a great place to spend the 4th!
