Too Much Fun

We are having a fantastic summer despite me being way too pregnant, the Apple store frying my hard drive, and Randy losing his wallet. Today was free slurpee day at 7-11 so naturally I took the boys three times.  I love free food!

 Back before summer actually felt like summer, we took a little weekend trip to the Olympic peninsula to visit my Aunt Barbara and Uncle John.  It's really quite tragic they moved out here right as we're leaving.  
Randy was excited for a nice relaxing getaway until he realized he lost his wallet.  Too bad he didn't figure it out until after our van was boxed in, surrounded by lines of parked cars on all sides, waiting in line to catch the ferry. He used his phone and my debit card to get a taxi back to his car at U-Dub where he thought he left his wallet, knowing if he didn't hurry he'd be in big trouble for leaving me with the boys on the ferry.  Long story short, he dropped his wallet in the street and someone took it, he didn't make it back for the ferry, and spent an hour on the phone putting fraud alerts on all our accounts.  Luckily he joined us a couple hours later, but highly stressed at the thought of replacing everything in his wallet.  But don't worry, the story gets better.  After lots of worry and hours on the phone he had replaced everything except his military i.d.  Two days later his wallet was turned into the lost and found at school.  Randy was relieved but this answer to prayers came a little too late in my opinion.
 But anyway, back to our trip to Aunt Barbara's.  She lives in a beautiful house overlooking the most breathtaking views of the San Juan Islands, Canada, and ocean.  Since I never got a picture you'll just have to take my word for it.  Beautiful!  The boys had a fantastic time running wild, playing at the skate park, exploring the beach, and getting lots of grandmotherly-like attention.  Meanwhile, I talked Barbara's ear off.  She reminds me of my mom in so many ways it just felt good being with her.  She is so practical, just like my mom.
