We celebrated another Jewish holiday (no school!) and took the boys to Boston. It was just over an hour away and as soon as we got there I instantly felt at home touring our old stomping grounds from our dental school days. The boys loved riding the subway most of all and Randy was thankful his subway-commuting days are over. After seeing a few historical things we drove past the places we used to live, aka "The Hood." It was a nice reminder to see how far we've come and then it was on to Lexington to hang out with the Jones's for more good times. We headed home by way of Costco so Randy could buy me cheesecake for my birthday since we are Coscto-less here in RI and the next day I turned 29 again. For some reason I keep having my 29th birthday! But I don't mind if I never turn 30. It ended up being a pretty good day. Any day that ends with cheesecake and some extra love from my boys is a good day.
