Tra-Di-Tion! Tra-Di-Tion!

My boys love ice skating but I don't know why.  They're horrible at it!  We even got Bean some skates with double blades hoping that would help him stay up, never mind the fact they were white girlie figure skates.  He fell down every few seconds and spent more time crawling to the wall than skating on his feet.  Landon and I watched from the side lines and laughed our heads off at people when they fell.  Not very nice of us but it's how I was raised and we sure had fun!  But the weather was warm enough that it rained on us at first and the ocean shore was just yards which added to the excitement of the outdoor rink.  We'll chalk this little Christmas adventure up as a successful new tradition.  The free hot chocolate was an added bonus.
