Christmas in RI

"We're so excited about our pajamas now we'll never going to bed!"

I'm back!  It's a new year and I still can't believe the holidays are over.  Time flew by.  I'm not even sick of listening to Christmas music yet and now the kids are back at school and I'm left wondering how I'm going to get all our suitcases unpacked (from our trip to New York) and put away all the Christmas decorations.  Did I mention the garbage man never came after Christmas so we're still up to our eyeballs in Christmas wrapping paper and boxes?  Well we are.
This Christmas will always be known as "The Year I Learned How To Sew."  I decided to make nativity costumes as a gift for my Dad and Kathy for their annual reenactment of the Nativity with all the grandkids.  I underestimated how long this would take me by about a hundred hours.  After discovering my new-found ability to sew clothes, I whipped up some pajama pants for the boys.  Marcus's waistband was so tight he was singing soprano but thanks to my mother-in-law, she made him a new pair while Randy and I wrapped way too many presents.
Yes, Randy's parents were here for Christmas.  I fed them good food, and in return they watched the boys so Randy and I could see the Les Miserables movie.  Now my life is complete.

But there's more!  We took a road trip to Rochester, NY to see our Oki friends, the Kiser's.  We played hard and stayed up way too late trying to figure out where we could set up successful dental practices.  That mystery is yet to be solved.  More pics on that later, including our trip to Palmyra, NY.
