Family Nights

We love Family Night.  It's one night a week dedicated just to our family.  The kids love it and will never let us miss a week.  We usually start out with a song and a prayer followed by "Minute to Shine" where each kid gets one minute to be in the spotlight where anything goes.  We've seen dancing, magic tricks, piano solos, karate moves, and so much more.  It's usually the highlight of my night.  Then Randy and I take turns giving a lesson followed by an activity and dessert.
Last week, we joined up with a few other families for Family Night.  We spent most of the night laughing our heads off as we competed in Minute-to-Win-It games.  The kids had just as much fun as the adults.

Get the cookie from your forehead into your mouth with no hands

Knock the water bottles down without using your hands

Look silly doing it!
This week we skipped the lesson and headed to the playing fields behind our house where the boys played soccer until it rained.  We ended the night with the most delicious homemade ice cream I've ever eaten, courtesy of Randy's new ice cream maker I gave him for Father's Day.
What do you like to do for Family Night?
